Simultaneous Detection of High Temperatures

The HotHEAD™ "Crowd" is designed to monitor and detect high temperatures of any staff or visitor in its detection range so it is generally positioned to catch people who will walk in front of it. Ideally the HotHEAD™ "Crowd" needs to be installed within 2.5m of the people you want to measure the temperature of. It can measure people who are moving and simultaneously groups of up to around 8 people. Typically it would be positioned in a frequently used walkway.

Automatic & continuous protection for your staff and customers with the HotHEAD™ "Crowd" couldn't be easier. When a high temperature is detected simply follow your own internal procedure to minimise risks to others. This may by sending the staff home or asking the customer to leave the premises.

The HotHEAD™ "Crowd" CCTV camera is best suited to busy shops with lots of walkin and browse customers or visitors. It can read multiple temperatures at around 2m away as people walk past or in front of the camera so it is totally automated. If you seek a lower cost solution consider the HotHEAD™ "Selfie" camera. The HotHEAD™ "Selfie" camera requires people to stop & stand directly in front of it. It has a built in monitor which displays the temperature and if it's too high the "Selfie" can do similar functions to the "Crowd" model such as mask detection, software linking etc. The "Crowd" is normally installed on a ceiling for automated monitoring, the "Selfie"on a tripod or wall for user interaction and monitoring.

  1) By instant notifications triggering software on a networked computer & keeping historical & searchable records if required

  A Windows notification instantly pops up on all PCs running the HotHEAD™M software warning of the high temperature or someone not wearing a mask. The software logs the time, date and temperature of the trigger along with a snapshot of the person.

  2) Plays a warning message directly from the camera

  A raised temperature or not wearing a mask (if enabled) can trigger a customisable warning message stored in the camera's memory and played through the camera's built-in speaker.

  3) Emails a snapshot of the person

  Automatically sends colour and thermal images of the person detected with temperature overlays as attachments on an email. The email also includes detailed information on when, where and why the alert was triggered.

  4) Triggers devices by closing a relay contact on the camera for example switching on a discreet light in the shop

  A clever but simple way of alerting staff members to a high temperature reading without creating panic among staff or customers in a shop.

  5) FTPs a snapshot of the person

  By automatically uploading (FTP) a snapshot of the person detected with a high temperature. Each snapshot includes a temperature as an overlay.
